Our Story
The beginnings of SKIN The Body Co. started back in 2018 when our founder, Erin, met her bonus son. She had never been so close to someone that dealt with the skin condition, eczema. She wanted to do something to help alleviate some of his symptoms. It was then that Erin decided to come up with something that was especially for his skin. Something natural, simple, and clean. The first batch of The Original Butter was created. It had all the things that would soothe and treat his skin naturally.
Fast forward to 2019 when Erin was in her third pregnancy, the vanity in her did not want any more stretch marks! That is when Camille Tummy Butter (Erin’s middle name) was created.
In 2020, the entire world was changed due to the global COVID 19 pandemic. Six weeks of quarantine at home for Erin birthed several new products. Ace Butter for extremely dry, chapped skin. This formula was named after Erin’s father because it was developed with him in mind. Yede Butter which is called the glow formula was created and named after Erin’s late maternal grandmother who had gorgeous, vibrant skin. And last but not least, Moisturizing Coconut Body Scrub was created.
SKIN The Body Co. is so special to us because each original product was developed with someone in mind that was near and dear to our founder, Erin. We love the fact that our products work!
