When can I expect my order to arrive?
All orders are expected to arrive 5-7 business days after the order has been fulfilled. You will receive an email from us once the order has been received and another email once the order has been fulfilled. Your email will also include the tracking number that will allow you to track your package as it is en route to you. If you do not receive your order 5-7 business days after you receive your fulfillment email, please contact us at skinthebodyco@gmail.com. Include your name, order number, and date of purchase.
Do you have a re-use program?
Unfortunately we cannot take back used containers. As a small company we just don’t have the facility or capacity to properly ensure that the containers are sanitary enough to be reused. However, all of our containers are plastic, glass, and tin so some can be recycled or repurposed. We are very conscious of our carbon footprint and how we can lighten it, and we will continue to explore sustainable options as we grow. We encourage ALL of our customers to recycle their product jars or re-use!

We do not outsource manufacturing; all of our products are handmade and handcrafted in Huntsville, AL. We do not use preservatives, stabilizers, or fillers. Can I return my order?
Thank you for your business! Here at SKIN The Body Co, our wish is for you to be nothing short of happy with your purchase and overall experience. Should you encounter an issue with your order delivery or product, please contact us within 14 days. Due to the volatile nature of our products, it is not sanitary for us to accept product returns but we’ll be happy to arrange an appropriate resolution for you.
A few things to keep in mind:
Including your order # with your communication will help us to respond and resolve your issue more promptly
Images of damaged deliveries are needed to help address claims with our carriers or shipping team
Damaged items will be reshipped by us at no additional charge!
What skin types is SKIN The Body Co made for?
Our products work for all skin due to the natural moisturizing and healing properties in our ingredients. It is not just a solution for problematic skin but a way to maintain healthy skin on a daily basis!
What is the texture of the Body Butters?
Our Body Butters are whipped to ensure a fluffy yet dense texture. Though it may feel light and airy, it is packed with only nutrient rich ingredients. The whipped texture of the butter melts on your skin in contact for a delightful experience. A little goes a long way with our butters and is meant to penetrate your skin’s surface leaving you with no oily residue or coating on your skin.
What to do if my body butter melts or freezes during shipping?
One of our favorite things about our Body Butters is how easily they melt into the skin! To achieve this quality – we use natural ingredients that are very temperature sensitive. Temperatures warmer than room temperature may cause the body butters to melt. Due to the volatile nature of these ingredients, there may also be instances where product melts a little during shipping to hotter climates or during summer months. The good news is that this does not affect the quality of your product. It is still wonderful for your skin and safe to use. Melted product will solidify within 3-4 hours after refrigerating. It may look like there is less in your jar and this is due to the air being out of the jar which happens during our whipping process. It will also be more of a balm texture. If your product is frozen (which rarely happens) let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours and it will soften. Good as new!
